The round die consists of heavy-duty high-speed steel (HSS) in unalloyed and low-alloyed steels up to a strength of 800 N/mm². The round die consists of 5% cobalt alloyed heavy-duty high-speed steel (HSSE-Co 5) in unalloyed and alloyed steels up to a strength of 1000 N/mm² and non-ferrous metals. The thread is cut in one operation.

Applicational Use:
For metric thread M3 - M12 according to DIN ISO 13.
The threads are cut in one operation.
To cut an external thread, the workpiece must already have the nominal diameter of the desired thread.
The die is attached and rotated until the desired thread length is reached.
